The United States has a diverse ecosystem that allows for many species of plants and flowers to grow. The native flowers in the U.S. vary in location and color and form. Some of these flowers can grow in extreme climates, while others need specialized moderate climates to live. Most of these plants just naked beautiful flowers, while others, like prickly pear cactus, bore fruit cheap cigarettes. All of them can be found growing wild in the USA.
The Prickly Pear Cactus is a robust plant, often lying flat on the ground, and under good conditions in a garden, can grow one to two feet in height. It will also propagate large pillows and produce beautiful yellow flowers. This meandering cactus produces red, bristle-covered, pear-like fruit that gives it the name”Prickly Pear ” . It is a native flower in the United States just east of the Rocky Mountains in the southwestern U.S. The plant grows well in dry soil in open pine forests and meadows and pastures, but also do well as a potted plant or a rock garden.
